There is a time when our beloved TV show will go on and on forever. Here is my list on the 3 TV shows that need to end.
In the evening I love settling down on the sofa and do a big binged session of my favorite TV shows. I love watching shows on Amazon prime and Netflix. I’m not really a terrestrial TV shows person, a concept that my parents can’t quite get the head around. They haven’t fully understood the whole on-demand TV service.
None the less, I love having my TV shows on my own time. However, throughout my whole TV watching life, there are time when I have noticed that there are some TV shows just won’t ever end. I mean not in length of an episode. But they would just drag on and on and on. They go from episode to episode without any real meaning. Season to season without a main story arch. Do you know what I mean?
I sometime feel the writers of these shows just don’t know what direction to take these shows. They keep tuning out pointless storylines or give your beloved character a complete new personality. What once a winning formula, now it just stale and really need to end.
Here is my list of the 3 TV shows that need to end. There is no point of dragging a dead horse, is there? Let me begins:

Once upon a time I was a huge fan of this TV shows. I loved the Disney aspect of it, I loved that it has Lost element as well. I had a girl crush on Gennifer and I squealing like a mad girl when she got with her prince charming in real life. In the beginning it has a good strong story arch and strong female lead. But then I felted it got a little too big for it boots
I stopped watching after mid-season 5. I felt the magic wasn’t there anymore. Season 5 was hyped to be about the Black swarm and how the good girl Emma now has dark evil powers. But the hyped wasn’t worth it. The storyline for black swarm was rather lame. I felt the writer didn’t particular use the story arch to its full potential. It like they didn’t have the budget or knew which direction to take it. They made it too lovey-dovey with the storyline between Emma and Hook. Ok sure Hook in OUAT is damn fine but there no need to make it soapy with his character.
I tried picking it up in season 6 but it didn’t hold my attention. The storyline is just a constant rinse and repeat from previous seasons. It boring and really need to end. Or at least a new direction. I have heard the rumor Jennifer Morrison is leaving. Honestly I don’t blame her. Even Robert Carlyle looked bored in every scene. Just end it and go out on a high – while you still can.
It was Richard who introduced me to this show. Who doesn’t love a show about 3 nerds and popular culture? I find myself with this relating to it easier, I can easily laugh along with it jokes and keep rooting for my favorite character. I loved in the beginning the tug of war between Penny and Leonard. I had tears of laughter running down my face at Sheldon jokes. (Especially the one where he hides in the sofa and scared Leonard – if you haven’t seen it, watch it now!)
It was at that time the biggest sitcom since Friends. It was funny, clever and very smart. But then slowly, very slowly it soon progressed to another incarnation of Friends. I enjoyed the nerds and the pretty girl who didn’t understand it all in the early seasons. That what got me and many people hooked.
But then these nerds soon had girlfriend, babies and marriage in the latter part of seasons. The tug of war between penny and Leonard very quickly got resolved. Sheldon stopped being all nerdy and is all caught up with Amy. Everything seem to be resolved just fine. So it would be a good time to end.
Nope. They are keep on going. With more pointless storyline. More Friends incarnation. The writer seems to be at a loss on what to do with Raj. And more so in the newer season, they have made Penny into a complete bitch.
It obvious these actors are now doing it for the money. They look bored as well. It just isn’t funny anymore and it a sentiment that many fans have shared on Yotube videos clips.
They need to wrapped it and do it soon. However, that might not be the case as they already planning season 11 and 12. Do us a favor and just end it now.
Hand up, who here grew up watching Doctor who? If you raise your hand – then you are not along. I starting watching Doctor Who from a young age. It a culture icon. The longest running sci-fic show ever.
We all know Doctor Who and we all have our favorite companion. Mine was Amy and Rory, if you were interested. I fell in love with David Tennet Doctor’s incarnation and thought Matt Smith carried it brilliantly.
But then I felt it got a weird and a little stale when Peter Capaldi took over. The storyline was all over the place. The Dalecks got annoying and less scary. The story arch with River song never properly got resolved and the ending of Clara Oswald just didn’t make sense.
It doesn’t need to end – just perhaps a new direction. Those there might be good news on that front. Peter Capaldi is closing the door of the Tardis and Steven Moffat is ending his writing direction on the show.
I feel it need to be off the air for a while and be given a new look. A new bang. Do you agree with me?
