Hello and welcome to my Nostalgic Series, It’s a weekly series that will focus on the bygone era. The era of all things we consider  vintage and old. This will look at the era between 1900-1980′s, the things we can look back on with sentimental value and wonder where the good old day gone too.
I will be doing shopping pages, features and I also will be using my youtube channel to do some tutorials and interviews videos. I’ll be featuring vintage collectors from all walk of life, I also be running fun competitions and games for you to get involved.
If you would like to get involved if you have an online vintage shop on Etsy or Ebay or know someone who will love too get involved then please feel free to email: annalisa.nuttall@gmail.com. I say more the merrier.

This is for all you girls (and boys) that was born in the 80s but grew up more in the 90s. This isn’t for anyone who was born in the 90s; sorry but you might be a little too young to remember this girl band.

Back in the early 90s there was a girl band that I was obsessed with and was for a short time in the UK was huge and dominated the pop chart but sadly The Spice Girls came and soon stole their thunder.

This was Eternal:

Originally a four pop/R&B piece until Louise Rednapp left after the released of their first album. I’m not going to do a massive biography of them as you can google them on Wiki.

I’m bringing this up this week ‘nostalgic series’ as they have sort-of reformed on ITV ‘The Big Reunion’ show, and to be honest I couldn’t be more thrilled as I was obsessed with this band growing up. I wanted to cut my hair like Easther (in the picture on the left), nagged my mum to let me see them in concert and recorded every interview on my old VHS recorder. I always thought they was more talented then the spice girls and have such a soulful music that it was easy listening especially during the big pop 90s explosion.

So do you remember this girl band while growing up? Did you like any of their songs? I recently downloaded their greatest hits albums on Itunes and It just transported me back to when I was between the age of 12-15 and listening to their album on tapes (yes remember tapes, that how old!).

Here a taster of their music so tell me if you like it:

Sorry for the bad quality but it the only one I could find.

Keep an eyes out for Thursday ‘The Big Reunion’ show to keep up to thew latest details.

While this week ‘nostalgic series’ is a personal indulgent hopefully It will stirred up some lost memories you might have forgotten. Would you like me to do more like this?
