Do not underestimate the power of positive thinking. With only 60 days till the end of 2017, are you ready to harness the power of positive thinking?

I know it a really scary thought, but yup there is only 60 day left of 2017. Times certainly do flies when you are having fun. And it only felt like yesterday I was telling you all to be amazing in 2017.

So with the end of the year fast approaching, this got me thinking. It not too late to make small changes in your life. It also not too late to change something before the end of the year. My friends are you ready to harness the power of positive thinking.

(Now you have to imagine the last part being said in a Darth Vader voice, with his fist in the air and the deep booming electron voice.)

There’s a good quote to get you thinking about the power of positive thinking:

“The way to happiness: Keep your heart free from hate, your mind from worry. Live simply, expect little, give much. Scatter sunshine, forget self, think of others. Try this for a week and you will be surprised.”

Norman Vincent Peale, The Power of Positive Thinking

But what exactly is the power of positive thinking?

I believe it overcoming an obstacle and realizing that you can do anything – if you set your mind to it. If you think you can’t do it, 9 times out of 10 you totally can.

When I was younger I would have this argument with my sister about the word, ‘can’t’. She would say they no such things as can’t and it a useless word. Naturally, I would argue with her and say there is. So I would spend the entire day trying to catch her out.

But as I got older, I realized that she was right – and I was wrong. (oh boy she’s going to have a field day when she read this.)

Ok, sure you can’t do certain things such as fly like a bird or make yourself invisible. But there are lots of things in life you can do.

It the whole mind over matter stance. If you believe you can do it – you can do without a doubt in your mind. If you want to be a doctor or a blogger, then tune your mind to the right frequency and you will be that doctor or blogger in no times. Just think your way to success.

Avoid negativity in your life, you don’t need it – so avoid it.  I have met plenty of negative people in my life. All they do is drain your energy and make you feel worthless. Cut ties with them, as it won’t allow you to grow and be the person you want to be. Listening to those people will only put doubt and fear in your life.

Meet someone who is positive and have a happy-go-lucky attitude in life. Like my husband, Richard for example. He is genuinely the happiest, positive, calmest guy I know. He never stopped me in my track when I went full-time blogging or told me not to do it. He said since I left retail, I’m happier and more relaxed then I’ve been in years. When doubt or negativity comes your way – push it aside and be with someone who can give you nothing by positive vibe in life.  You will feel a lot better and also a lot happier.

There is also a theory that if you write something down 5 times on a piece of paper and tear it up. It supposed to come true. Sadly, I wrote Brad Pitts to comes to my bedroom and that hasn’t come true yet. But you get what I mean. By writing something down 5 times, it supposed to unload brain junk and mental baggage. I have done this in the past and you do feel a lot lighter and happier.

As we are now in November and only got 60 days remaining of 2017, are you ready to switch your brain to the power of positive thinking? There’s no time like the present to start thinking about making the change.
