A day to shut away from the outside world, put on pyjamas and doing nothing for 24 hours. A chill out day and most defiantly a lazy day.
Not going to lie, I do love my lazy day. I mean who doesn’t love spending a day in pyjamas and having one of those off days where you do nothing?
I’m having one of those days right now and its just pure bliss. I should do grocery shopping, go to the gym, put my finance in order and I’m like naaa I do that later or I might indeed leave it for another day. It that kind of day for me where I have no energy to do anything. So in a way, I could call my lazy day, recharging my mind, body and soul battery.
What to do on a lazy day? Honestly, whatever you want. Me, on my lazy day I love nothing better than Netflix, PlayStation 4 RPG games and curling up reading. It just a day to sit on the sofa and let my mind wander. Free up my mind.
I use to work with a lady who was very much a go-getter and constantly on the move. She would never ever sit or stand still. If I was working with her, she would be 10-20 steps ahead of me while I’m lunging at telling her to slow down. She also never understood the concept of a lazy day, which I thought was strange as I thought everyone was familiar with the concept of a lazy day. This lady would always be doing something or going somewhere, so more then not when she would ask me what I would be doing on my days off, I would reply pyjamas and internet. Her reply would be, that boring and you need to keep moving. I never understood how she has the energy to keep going and how was she able to recharge her battery?
But some people are like that, and that is awesome. I’m just not one of them. I like my lazy day and the freedom to recharge my mind, body and soul battery. I like to think it a very healthy thing to do as otherwise you will get burn yourself out as you haven’t given yourself the chance to take a breather.
My question is, what do you do on a lazy day? Do you also use that day to recharge the mind, body and soul battery? If you don’t mind me, I’m going to get back to my lazy day.
