Amazon Prime tend to get forgotten and ignored when it comes to online streaming service. But it as good as Netflix, so here are 5 shows to watch on Amazon Prime.
We always talk about how amazing Netflix is and what a great selection of films it has. But there is another streaming service that can easily give a run for its money – Amazon Prime.
I seriously do think Amazon Prime is just as good as Netflix. Ok, it might not have as much selection as Netflix, but the shows are still high quality and the selection is a little more niche.
At first, I only signed up to Amazon Prime for the free delivery, but once the streaming service came on – I thought I give it a go. Ok admittedly, not so great at the start when it was first launched. But Amazon has really upped their game and it shows they put in a serious amount of investment into their streaming service.
Lately, I have been binged watching a bunch of shows. So I thought I would show you 5 shows to watch on Amazon Prime that you don’t want to be missing out on.
Outlander:
This was how I discovered Outlander – through Amazon Prime, and boy I’m glad I did. One word for you ladies: Jaime. I will say no more. Love this show and could happily binge watch it forever. It also amazing if you love anything 18th century and Scottish kilt. That one word again – Jamie.
The Grand Tour:
If you liked Top Gear and is a petrol head – then you will like this. Amazon made a big fuss about this a few years ago, as they paid a fortune to gained the right to this show. Basically, this is just a re-hashed version of Top Gear. I just like to watch this for the humour and to see three old men making a fool of themselves.
The Man in The High Castle:
A slight alternative history one here. This is where Nazi’s win the war and take over the US. The show itself is a slow starter and doesn’t really get going for another 3-4 episode, but keep watching it. I’m currently waiting for season 3 to start. Do watch it as its high quality and the acting is superb.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel:
I only just started to watch this, and it does take a little to get used to the comedy. This isn’t your usual drama either. It about a woman who gets dumped and decides to do stand-up comedy. I will say no more about it. This won 2 Golden Globes, very well deserved.
Jean Claude Van Johnson:
This is one of those shows where you have to see it – to believe it. The muscle from Brussel, playing himself – but not himself. Confused? Well, you should be. There not much else to say about it, as well – you just have to see it for yourself.
Those were 5 shows to watch on Amazon Prime. Do you have any to add?
