A big trend this spring/summer is gypsy tunics. This, of course, makes me very happy. Here how to be free this spring with gypsy tunics.

As I said a couple weeks ago, I’m very much into the bohemian dream. And this is not only reflecting my lifestyle – but also my fashion choice.

I want my style this year to reflect more on me – rather than conforming to what people want me to wear. What I mean by that, I just want to wear – what I want to wear. Not what people tell me to wear – or to suit people expectation.

What I’m saying is, I’m no longer trying to follow the trend and be down with the cool kids, if you know what I mean? I’m no longer trying to fit and blend in with everyone else.

This year I will tear up the rule book and make my own rule. Be that girl who will wear what she wants and be happy with her choice.

You see, I never been that girl who liked standing out and being different. I’m always that person who would blend in with the crowd and be silence observing a trend.

It all boiled down to an experience I had a school, I went to a boarding school and there was this one girl who bullied me all the time.

From a young age, I have always been a dressy fashion crazy girl, I would go shopping in my Sunday best. Anyway, while at school I was the same – someone who liked to play dress up.

This girl thought I was an attention seeker drama queen and would make horrible remarks about my clothes and look.  Me – an attention seeking drama queen, no I just like to dress up and be my own person.

I would walk into a room wearing just a simple dress and she would call my name and just make fun of me. This, of course, made me regret dressing up or wearing nice clothes and I just retreated into my own corner and just wore boring plain clothes.

I never forgot my experience throughout school, and even now – 20 years later I still leave a big hole in me. But as people have said to me, the past is in the past and you need to move on.

This is why it has taken me so long to ignore the rule book and to be my own person.

But enough tear stories, this year I want my style to reflect more of me – whether that is bohemian or wearing a swing dress.

Reflecting my bohemian side has come at the right time as a lot of high street stores has a lot of gypsy influence fashion in their spring collection.

This makes me very happy and I’m just loving a lot of gypsy tunics that are available. Here is a small selection which I have chosen that will hopefully give you an idea of what I’m talking about.

These gypsy tunics are perfect for the beach (which I will be on as you are reading this!) or for a festival. Also, perfect to wear when the temperature starts soring.

So take a look at these gypsy tunics and let me know if you are being your own person this spring/summer, where you are tearing up the rule book and wearing what you want to wear.

This season be free with gypsy tunics.
