After being in the sun all day, your hair feels hot and a little dry. This is why you need to try out Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner.

I went to Cornwall last weekend and pretty much spent the entire day on a beach in the sun. Don’t get me wrong it was amazing and it not every day you get to lay around on a golden sandy beach.

But I got burnt. I know, I was stupid. You see I covered my arm and legs with sun cream, just not my shoulder and the top part of my body. It was ok, I wasn’t lobster burnt. Just very red and looked a little silly.

Now here another thing that is silly, I do often forget just how powerful the sun is. I’m not a total sun worshipper who will be quite content with laying in the sun all day. No. I’m not someone who will sit in the sun to get her vitamin D quota for the day and then spend the rest of the time in the shade or indoor.

So when I do sit in the sun, I always do feel its power – especially on my sore burnt skin. Another thing I notice when I got burnt was my hair felt sore.

This is something I haven’t really noticed before as my hair never get affected in the sun. But this time I could my scalp burning. Not a pleasant feeling let me tell you. It also felt hot and just very dry. Needless to say, I was having a bad hair day.

I received some Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner, and it was just the products I needed to sort my hair out.

This shampoo and conditioner contained coconut milk. Some of you may or may not know this, but coconut is supposed to be a brilliant natural remedy to help burned.

It thought that coconut milk helps to reduce the redness and restore moisture to the sunburnt skin. Pretty amazing isn’t it?

As you can imagine, the Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner was something I desperately needed to use for my hair.

Let me talk you through this product.

Sounds incredible, doesn’t it? So how did I get on and did it help my sore burnt hair?

Well, the first thing first is the smell, it does smell of coconut and it is divine. I had to remember to apply It to my hair, rather than just keep sniffing it. Once it on the hair, you do really notice the scent but it never a strong smell anyway, and plus you get to smell like coconut. What can be better than that?

This does lather up well, which what you expect from any shampoo and conditioner. Now this might sound silly but I could feel it work its magic on me as I was applying to it.

It felt really refreshing and cooling applying onto the hair. As always when applying any shampoo and conditioner, you apply it twice.

A trick I learnt from a hairdresser years ago, the first shampoo removes the dirt while the second actually clean the hair. Remember the next time you wash your hair.

Anyway, I washed my hair using the Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner. Did it help my burnt sore hair?

Yes, I can honestly say it did. My hair felt not only soft and shiny. But felt so refreshed. My scalp didn’t feel itchy or sore – which was a relief. I think this little beauty did it trick and the coconut milk more defiantly helped.

I will remember that next time, to always use coconut milk on sore burnt skin.

I recommend anyone, not just someone who got sun burnt to use this Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner as it was such a lovely product to use.
