This will be the last of any Covid-19 related-type post as I’m conscience about writing mistruth and misinformation. Plus, my anxiety is through the roof right now.
Not because I want to bury my head in the sand and pretend it doesn’t exist – but I feel as a blogger/influencer not to give out the wrong information. The blogosphere is flooded with covid-19 related posts, with a lot giving out the incorrect information and I just feel it my responsibility not to do that and to carry on as normal.
Hence why I won’t be writing much about it on here, but on my Twitter profile, on the other hand, I’d be more open to talking about it; however, still taking care that I don’t share any misguided truth.
While things are gloomy right now, I’ve been thinking about things that have made me smile this week during a pandemic. So, I thought I would share them with you.
I lost my final pound, and I finally lost a stone in weight in total
I will be writing an in-depth weight loss blog post soon, but for now, I just wanted to shout it from a rooftop. This means I finally dropped a dress size. Sing it with peep, ‘I feel good, nanana I knew that I would’…
My local Co-op giving me a packet of loo rolls
Since this whole pandemic started, I’ve been going to my local Co-op store to find some god-damn loo rolls. A guy notices I’ve been coming every day looking for them, so he gave me one they were keeping for those who needed them (as opposed to just hoarding them!). Amazing!! I was so happy by this guy that I brought him an Easter egg.
Playing the Sims 4 on PlayStation
Sound silly saying I play The Sims, but I just find it so relaxing and kind-of therapeutic. It an excellent way to escape for a bit.
Finally getting into a home exercise routine
With all the gyms closed, I have to work out at home. I’m not a big fan of exercising at home, but this week I think I finally got a hand on it. Surprise I’m now enjoying it.
Those were my list of things that made me smile this week during a pandemic. In the comments do add your list as I would like to read about them.
Stay safe everyone x
