A week ago, I had terrible skin where my face just broke out into spots. So I decided to try out a few different facial washes to see which one would clear my skin and makes me spot-free.
I blame all the junk foods I have been eating recently. That the thing with lockdown – it makes you want to comfort eat. Well that the effect it has been having on me – which is not good. As it resulted in me having a bit of a bad skin breakout.
When I have bad skin breakout, and my face was covered in spots, I tend to grab a facial wash as it is an effective course of action. Which bring me to my point as when my skin was awful, I decided to try out a few facial washes. The idea was to see which one would clear my skin the fastest and how effective they really are.

Nivea Refreshing Facial Wash Gel
NIVEA Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash Gel with Vitamin E cleanses and hydrates by supporting the skin’s own moisture balance.
This is a new facial wash for me, and after using it, I have to say that I like it a lot. It did feel refreshing to apply onto face, and it tingled just a little bit which I thought was nice. It does tingle even after usage.
It didn’t clear my problematic skin, but it did make me feel like my face was clean. It also felt so soft, smooth and refreshed after use. I was happy using this, and I can see this being my new favourite.
Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash
The naturally derived exfoliators remove excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells. It also unblocks pores to prevent spots from forming, leaving you with beautifully smooth and clear skin every day.
This is a facial wash I have used in the past, and I have known for it to work on problematic skin. I feel with this facial wash that this is the one which will remove excess dirt and oil which cause bad skin. Unlike other facial wash, this goes deep into the skin to remove all the dirt and oil.
My face does go a little red after usages, but it soon does die down, and this is the facial wash you will get the result as well as making the skin feel clear and soft.
Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Face Wash
This moisturising, 100% soap-free, vegan face wash gently washes away make-up and impurities, leaving skin feeling hydrated, soft and replenished.
This facial wash is my go-to, the one I usually grab when my skin freak out. The Simple kind to skin face wash is often my number one choice, so it is not a surprise I have on here.
Another one in which I’m happy to say that this has the result, where it instantly clear bad skin and give you healthy-looking skin.
I don’t see myself ever stop using this facial wash.
Those were my facial washes reviews. Do you have tips or advice on how to clear up bad skin?
