You’d be forgiven If you think I’m crazy for even thinking about Christmas in the middle of November when the big event is a month away. But truthfully, I am thinking of Christmas in the middle of November as I’m trying to be prepared and not leave everything to the last minute – like I usually do.

As I’m writing this, we’re in the second national lockdown, and I don’t know about you – but my plan for Christmas, right now is all up in the air. Meaning, I have no ideas about what I’m doing this year. I’m supposed to do the normal where I see family and so on – but with government restrictions in place, I’m not so sure if that will happen.

Therefore, Christmas has been on my mind lately as I am now in the mindset that I better get prepared and do my Christmas shopping before it gets chaotic especially if lockdown continues right up to the big day.

If (and this is a big if) I don’t see family this year due to lockdown restriction I still want to give gifts to people, and this is why I turned to Moonpig.

I can select a gift or cards and get it delivered straight to their address. So, while I might not be able to be there in person, I can still let them know I’m thinking of them by sending a little something through the post.

My feeling is that by sending a small gift through the post it still retrain a little bit of sentimental,  a feeling where you can’t be there in person, but you’re still thinking of them and will see each other when the restriction is lifted.

Overall, what I’m saying is that Christmas shopping is mostly on my mind during this lockdown and I want to keep a little bit of festivity sentimental by sending gifts through the post via Moonpig. Especially if Christmas this year turned out not to be the season we envision.
