I’m the sort of girl who always needs music in my life. Whatever I’m doing, wherever I go, I always need music. I feel so lost if I’m without my iPod and my Spotify music collection. As I have been at home a lot more lately due to lockdown, it has given me a chance to refresh my music collection and listen to both old and new favourites. Here are 5 tunes I have been listening to lately.

Dana Jean Phoenix Funky Fly Free

Richard came home one day and told me he just heard a song that I will love. You know what, he was right. The song reminds me of 80s Paula Abdul and Janet Jackson. It so funky, and it makes me wish more songs were like this.

Lyn River in the Desert

This song is from the JRPG game: Persona 5. It was the best JRPG I have ever played, and the best part was the music. This particularly tune would play when in a boss battle. Usually, with a boss tune, you would be too busy listening to the background, but this time I found myself taking longer defeating the boss so I could listen to this song more. I recommend you play Persona 5 – especially if you like JRPG games.

Epica The Skeleton Key

This one is a bit metal. It might surprise I like this kind of style of music. I love Simone Simons voice, and the harmony on this is beautiful. If you’re not a fan of growl, then you might want to miss this. I also love the message within the song if you read the lyrics.

Lady Gaga Alice

Lady Gaga latest album Chromatica was a slow burner for me. But honestly, after a second listening, I now love the album. This song is a typical Gaga dance song, and I found myself having the song stuck in my head. I have also been loving the song Stupid Love.

K_Flay Blood in the cut

This one you might be familiar with if you watched Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Another song I keep getting stuck in my head.

So those were my 5 tunes I have been listening to lately. Let me know what songs have been on your iPod lately.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Stay tuned for more updates!
