Yup that is me with purple hair looking rather vacant ( sunlight was facing me straight on and I’m always looking rather vacant in pictures), it was a case of one day waking up thinking to myself – why not. Now when it come to my hair I like to live on the wild side, spontaneity is the name of the game for me; do it now and regret it later. This time I have no reason to regret it as I can live on the wild side on my own. For a really long time I wasn’t allowed to dye my hair, I worked in retail and there was one rule (to rule them all..It just has to be said!) – no hair dye. I even broke the rule once and actually dyed my hair (this was before I was even aware of this rule), they actually ordered me to a hairdresser to changed it back, well you can imagine how I was feeling. Prrrfftt did I regret dying my hair? – nahh as it got the bosses all hot and bother (how dare you break our one rule) and it was kind of fun to do. I left working retail work earlier this year and I became my own boss, the kind of boss that say ”you are free to dye your hair”. I will admit I didn’t dye me hair straight after leaving retail as colouring your hair is expensive if you go to a hair dresser but recently I’ve been reading about new cool colour hair dye you can buy cheaply and effectively, so I thought why not.
Let me introduce you to Colour Freedom:
Colour-Freedom is a range of 8 semi-permanent creative colours for electrifying vibrancy on pre-lightened and highlighted hair or more subtle tones on natural blonde hair.
I have been reading reviews and seeing photos of people results so I was anxious to try it out.
The photo above was my set up after. The whole process was so so easy and rather quick, just shampoo your hair before hand. Then towel dry and apply directly on hair, they recommend also using a hairbrush and gloves, leave for 30 minutes and wash out. As you can see I went for mystic purple so there was purple dye everywhere (just in the bathroom) so do be aware the dye will colour not just your hair. I ended up doing two round of application as I missed out some part of my hair but if I’m honest the dye gave me a real deeper richer tone of colour.
Overall If you want to go purple or just want to be wild then I recommend Colour Freedom.
I’m thinking next time trying out a pink candyfloss colour, what do you think?
