Designers have journeyed East for inspiration this Autumn/Winter. You’ll find this season a range of clothes that will bring oriental embellishment to Western wardrobes such as the dragon decorated on long black gowns, colourful cherry blossom watercolour painting dress and the silver velvet kimono.
From Valentino, Dries Van Noten to Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Tom Ford and Diane von Furstenberg to name a few—the runways were awash in Chinese influence this season. Throughout previous fashion seasons, designers are heavily influenced by the vibrant colours and bold patterns of the east and designer such Osman and Dries Van Noten have offset rich prints with clean-lined shapes and oriental motifs, to create a modern take on traditional Japanese cultures.
If you are interested in shopping for this Eastern influence then I have made a short shopping list for you. Who in there right mind would want to shop for this trends!? I know I would as I love anything oriental and I have said before I love anything Asian. I also feel this trends isn’t too over the top and it can be a look you can easily add to autumn/Winter style without having to not only splash out and also where you can still be yourself.
