I have a pretty serious pretty dress addiction, just ask my husband and he will tell you. When I shop online for clothes, I always go straight to the dress section and then make an imaginative wishlist of all the pretty dresses I want. It was only a matter of time before my obsession found its way on here as a new series called A Change of Dress, is my special place for all of the lovely dresses that I’ll find. I will be updating this every Saturday.
A few years ago I was obsessed with embroidery outfits, this was round the time Laura Lees has a collection in Topshop where it was filled with unusual embroidery outfits. I was really taken in on how much details the embroidery would go into and how it can change the look of the dress, rather then have the usual print design dress, this kind of feel handmade and different. So this bring me to my point on why I love this dress, it’s a beautiful Oasis floral embroidered dress that look handmade and personal. I really like how it go no sleeve so you can slip in a small long sleeve top underneath and make this dress like a pinafore.
Forget your LBD… this season it’s all about the LFD (that’s the Little Floral Dress). We’ve given that trusty black number a well-deserved glam over with pretty embroidered petals and a sweet panelled hem. Wear over your fave roll neck during the day and ditch the base layer when evening arrives.
So if you’re like me and love wearing dress that has embroidery on it and want something different this Christmas party, then this is the one for you. My advice is to team it with a velvet blazer and knee high boots.
