I was going to do a change of dress today and as I was doing my research I stumbled onto Asos – big mistake! So many pretty dresses and so much choice! I genuinely couldn’t choose which one I liked the best. I couldn’t choose just one for my change of dress feature, so I decided to do a massive Asos wish list where I feature all the clothes that I liked and talk through briefly on why I like them. It might inspire you to find that perfect spring dress. Let me know in the comment on which one are your favorite and which one you buy.
Hope and Ivy Floral Square Neck Maxi Dress £70.00
This dress feel like your floating through a beautiful rose garden on a crispy spring evening where the sun is setting. I love how the floral print just seem to blend effortlessly making it look like a watercolor painting. This is perfect to wear for those sophisticated evening party where you will stand out from the crowd.
ASOS Empire Seam Sundress In Navy Floral Print £20.00
This dress on the other hand is more for days when you’re hanging out with your mates and having a good old fashion BBQ or maybe a day at a festival (coachella is around the corner). This is a fun flirty floral print that you wear causally and effortlessly.
ASOS Wrap Skater Dress In Floral Print £25.00
I’m sure by now you’re seeing that I have a thing for floral print. Yeah I’m a sucker for them, what can I say? This is another floral dress that caught my eyes. While the last dress is great for hanging out with your mates, I see this one as more of an office work-wear. Ok image this scene, outside the sun is roasting and temperature is soaring, this is where you need a light weighted dress to keep you cool and one that doesn’t cling to your body as that would make you feel a hot sweaty mess.
Needle & Thread Linear Motif Embellished Shift Dress £165.00
I’ve mention before how I became to be a fan of Needle & Thread dresses, and this one once again became love at first sight. Most people would be put off by the lemony colour but for it the perfect shade of yellow. I love the detailing on the dress and how it has a 20s vibe to it. Wear this a sun dress on summer day and you are either at sophisticated event or just hanging out wit your mates. This I feel work both way.
Needle & Thread Embellished Lace Mini Dress £265.00
Now this dress is most defiantly 1920s inspired and also another Needle & Thread dress that I couldn’t say no to. Why would I? As it so frickin gorgeous. This dress feel like it came out of a time capsule from the 1920s and landed into present time. I feel like I need to cut my hair into a bob and put in it and find a jazz hall.
Needle & Thread Embroidery Floral Prom Dress £265.00
I’m also sure you notice another pattern emerging, dresses with embroidery on them. I feel embroidered dress make it look homemade and unique, I never been able to master embroidery so I’m quite in the state of twilight when I see an amazing embroidered pictures or a dress. This dress feel bohemian to me where you replace the feature in the hair for a flower crown and milk maid braid.
True Violet Full Pleated Skater Dress In Mesh Stripe Vivid Floral £75.00
A dress that in print look very similar to the first dress that I have shown you. But this one stood out for me as I love the pleated theme running through this. It look like something you would wear to a cocktail party or a evening wedding party.
Lazy Oaf Button Front Shirt Dress In Denim With Patches £65.00
If I was 6-7 years younger this would be my perfect dress. It fun and quirky and super cute. I always been a fan of Lazy Oaf products so this dress is no exception. Wear this with your mates on a beach or in the garden sipping on cocktails. This dress is all about you having fun and enjoying life.
ASOS Floral Midi Dress with Crochet Insert £85.00
Asos we need to have a word, why are you doing this to me? Putting so many beautiful dress onto the website making me want to rob a band or even remortgage my home. This dress is so beautiful – I mean I’m speechless. Why is this dress not in my life, I need this like asap. What a fun floaty bohemian dress, perfect for lazying around in the garden or on a beach. I just love everything about this dress.
Chi Chi London Midi Prom Dress In Allover Floral £58.00
In recent time I also became a fan of Chi Chi London, I found myself browsing through their Asos section going ‘yep I love that and this and this’, to the point where I’m thinking to myself on how I wish I buy them all. This dress is a beautiful metallic-effect that just stand out. I imagine myself day-dreaming wearing this on romantic date with a mysterious guy, he would take wine and dine me and then afterward we would sail into the sunset.
One More Extra:
Chi Chi London Bardot Neck Maxi Dress with Premium Lace and Tulle Skirt £72.00
I wanted to include this little extra one as it would be silly not too. If I saw this dress 5 years ago then I could say this would have been my wedding dress. This dress has everything to me, a sheer floral top with a long flowing skirt, a scalloped neckline and a silky lining. I’m sure most of you are thinking this is more bridesmaid then bridal, but I was never into the big bridal dress and I always found the bridesmaid dress to suit me a lot better. I also like bridal/bridesmaid dress to look bohemian and fun. For my wedding I was going for the whole 60s flower girl look and this would have been at the top of my list.
So which one did you like the best?
