Well the time have comes and it time for me to answer your questions which I asked you to do last week. Thank you for that and as there was quite a lot of blogging/marketing questions as well as some normal fun question, I have split it into two part – this time it’s the fun questions and the other part will come later on this week.
So I’m getting myself comfy and ready myself for your questions:
Natasha Mairs Asked: ‘How do you manage your time?’
Good question, the truth of the matter is – I don’t always. Very often time slipped away from me so fast that before I know it a certain deadline comes up or I have to be somewhere at a specific time and I have loads to do. I find from the moment I wake up (usually at 7:30 as Richard like to set the alarm early and can’t ever have a lie in) to about lunch time that when I feel more energized with writing so I concentrate on getting all my writing done as I know once it the afternoon my mind will wander and I will loose interest. However I often find in the evening or late afternoon it does picked up again – my concentration that is and my writing. I always get stuff done for a deadline ie: if someone want a 400 words blog post on socks I will priorities my time and do ahead of the set deadline. As the last thing I want to do is let people down (especially clients) by not properly organizing my time well enough. I did at one point have a schedule but that went out of the window – I even brought a diary but I soon lost that! I sometime set up alarm on my phone as a reminder that I need to do or write something before the end of day or a time.
Candace Asked: ‘Ask you anything you say? Ok, you say you have your head in the clouds. What is your most outrageous daydream?’
Last night, I’ve been watching a Michael Jackson documentary on youtube so this might have influence my daydream. In my dream MJ came over to my parents house and I was a child, he unexpectedly came over as he was hiding from tabloid people (how did he find me or my parents house as it not exactly Beverly Hills). I off course invited him in and gave him tea and we hanged out together and somehow during the course of this meeting we wrote a song, ‘you are not alone’ – the song from his History album. There must have been a part of adult Anna in this dream as I was arguing with MJ that no that isn’t right, R Kelly wrote the song. MJ told me it was a cover story and that I actually wrote it. So that was that. I think MJ went home (the coast was clear) and still in this dream a couple days later I received a cheque for a large amount of money and my mum was going beserked. She was saying that I’m now a world famous songwriter as the cheque was from the song I wrote with MJ – ‘you are not alone’. I can’t remember my reaction to this news (it was a dream after all) but my mum said she was going to cash it into the bank and it would be a trust fund and I can have it when I’m older.
Can you imagine my disappointment when I woke up! It was one of those dream that I had to think for a moment ‘was that real?’ That’s my most recent outrageous daydream.
Liz Mays Asked ‘Would you rather spend most of your time picking out new clothes or trying out new makeup?’
Oh I would pick out new clothes over make-up any day of the week. I’m not really into make-up, ok sure I got a few Urban Decay’s naked palette and they are lovely to use and sure I also got a few Benefits make-up kit as well. I sort of brought them thinking I’d be in some high flying city job working on a very important magazine or blog and wearing make-up was the law and you have to wear it or else. What I mean by that is there a general censuses that in the world of work, women need to present themselves in a certain way and that certain way was by wearing make-up. A job career advisor once told me that employee looked for ‘make up’ during a job interview as it show smart dress sense (nothing to do with how well you can do with the job, what a backward way) and you can present yourself. So because of that I brought some make-up and some kits thinking that how it going to be and I’m going have to get use to wearing make-up, especially if I want a job. When I met Richard he told me that he doesn’t like the make-up look so I never felt the need to cover myself in foundation. Just finishing on this note, I always see women’s in the morning putting on make-up during their train ride. But one last thing, I love spending my time round fashion shops, looking at all the various clothes and seeing all the new trends. However lately I been looking more online then high street as I find wandering around high street shops and the queuing to be rather boring. I also have a rule where I never try on the clothes in shop – would you really want a sweaty girl with smelly armpits trying on a beautiful red dress only for it to be hanged back up knowing someone else tried it on before you did? I buy the clothes and when I’m less sweaty try it out at home. But then you do have the hassle of bringing it back, but I use that as an excuse to go shopping again.
Melissa Asked ‘What’s the craziest, wildest thing you’ve always wanted to do?’
I’m not into extreme sport, I like my feet firmly on the ground, thank you very much. So jumping out of a plane would be a big no no and so would bungy jumping and hand gliding. If I’m honest I’m a little bit boring and the craziest wildest thing I would do is something you might find really dull – ghost hunting. I love being scared and the thought of being in a dark old haunted house where every creaked and bang only heighten your senses. I done a few mild ghost hunting, one at Alton Towers and one at Hampton Courts. Let me tell you about the Alton Towers experience, it was 3-4 hours ghost hunting tour and I booked it through something I saw on Wowcher or Groupon. It was a double whammy where during the day we obviously use the theme park and at night we (when I say we, Richard and I) would do this ghost tour. The tour was also obviously aimed at the old building in the middle of the theme park. So the guide showed us round and it was getting dark so we was all given torches, he gave a history lesson of the old building and we went into what was known as the old ‘ballroom’. I kid you not, the guide stopped talking, asked us to turn off our phone and we all had to show it was off to the guide as he wanted to make sure there was no fakery or fraud. Then quietly at first then it grow louder we all heard what sound like an organ playing, now this is an old building that is ruined in places so there no furniture and no organ. It was really weird and it lasted about 5 minutes. We all was dumstruck and lost for words – so was the guide and promise that it wasn’t done by him. So since then I’ve been wanting to do a proper overnight ghost hunt, like something you see out of Ghost Adventures. I’m planning to do something like that for Halloween this year – Yes I’m planning Halloween already!
Jessica Asked ‘If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?’
The answer to that would be, The Maldives. I have always loved the Indian Ocean, it tranquil clear blue-green water is so incredibly beautiful. I get a lot of comments from people when I say I like the Indian Ocean is why don’t I visit Sri Lanka instead? My answer is that if you look at the map, Sri Lanka is right off India while the Maldives is right in the very middle of the ocean and I personally think the Maldives give you that little piece of heaven on earth that you won’t find anywhere else.
You only have to look at a picture to know what I’m on about. It also make you realise how beautiful the earth is and how we’re so lucky to have this on our planet. The crispy white sand completely untouched and the sound of the wave crashing into the shore, no noisy traffic, no noisy dance music and no pollutions, it just the sound of nature.
My mum always argue with me that if I go I be in her word ‘bored stiff’, I reply back saying I don’t think I will be. I imagine myself swimming in the pool, sipping cocktails on the side while thinking about the meaning of life! I also imagine myself attempting scuba diving (even those I’m not a great swimmer) and looking at the fishy during the day while in the evening I wind down with a relaxing spa treatment. Doesn’t that sound like dream?
There a really worry at the moment that one day all the little islands (Maldives is a clutter of tiny island in the middle of the ocean) will disappear due to raising ocean water and climate change. I don’t want to be old and regret never getting the chance to visit.
I would like to stay in an over water villa where your horizon is nothing but tranquil clear blue-green water, I love the chance to see the incredible coral reef and ticking it of my ‘to do list’. I would love to walk along a golden white sand hearing the sound of the crushing wave.

Sarahjane Wood Asked ‘I am a keen baker so would love to know what your favourite cake is?’
It has to be chocolate cake every time, I never ever turn down chocolate cake! Who in there right mind would? The thing is I can’t bake to save my bloody life, I’m a terrible baker and I would love to one day book a cake lesson and learn how to properly make something like a cupcake. I followed every recipes known to man and all my cakes either get burnt or just doesn’t taste right. It now a running joke in the family as everyone says I’m an awful baker. One day when I have patience I will learn how to bake properly.
Charli Bruce Asked ‘what’s the most cringe worthy song on yours?’
On my old ipod, before I switched to android I use to have all the songs from the Simpson including Krusty the clown laugh. It use to make me laugh and cheered my up when I was feeling down. Now day I listen to bands such as, ‘Within temptation, Nightwish, Epica and the singer Tarja’.
Kara Asked ‘Which destination is top of your travel bucket list and why?’
Apart from the Maldives, I would say Toyko. My interest with all things oriental bring me onto Japan, especially Tokyo. I heard from people who have visited Tokyo say it amazing and the best city in the world, it almost like visiting an alien city world you see in sci-fi film. From what I have seen in pictures and videos, I do agree.
This wouldn’t be a beach holiday sipping cocktails, this would be a real backpacking exploring city holiday taking in as much as you can. I would love to take in the city atmosphere, the noise, the crowds, and the technology. Tokyo has a reputation of being a mixture of both old and news, it home to some of the biggest technology companies in the world (Nintendo is one example) while still having an ancient temple and hold onto the tradition of a geisha. If I had a week in Tokyo I would do a day travel on their bullet train round Japan seeing the wonderful sights, spend a day visiting the Ghibli museum (named after the founder of Studio Ghibli – they did the film Spirited Away) and find an excuse to walk along the Shibuya crossing (If you can see a video of the intersection – it completely insane). The fashion of Tokyo, especially in certain district is known to be colourful, fun and playful, the Harajuku district is known for its cosplay style which is usually found in the younger people. I would just love to visit a mall and do a huge shopping spree as I love Japanese fashion.
Kerry norris Asked ‘What are your 5 favourite high street shops? This is a great idea for a post.’
- H&M
- Primark
- Oasis
- Dorothy Perkins
- New look
I will elaborate further at another time with another post I got planned.
Becca @ Amuse Your Bouche Asked ‘What’s your go-to dinner recipe?’
Fajitas. When I’m feeling I want to do as little cooking as I can but still be adventurous I always think that making fajitas is great combinations. I didn’t like eating fajitas till my mid 20s, yeah like I said before I was (and still am) a fussy eater and I never liked spicy food that much but the older I got the more I found my taste buds changed.
The great thing about making fajitas is that you can pretty much add anything you like, I like chicken in mine but there people I know who like putting in beef or pork; or vegan/vegetarian cut out the meat and put in lots of other yummy stuff in. I like to pile mine up with tons of chicken breast chunks, salsa, pepper, sour cream and onion rings, sometime I crumble up bbq flavor pringles and add that in as well to give it a little more crunch.
I think I have rumbled on enough for now. That was a lot of fun and hopefully It might have given you a clearer picture on who I am. I will do this again soon and look out for part 2.
