Ahhh tea, the great British past-time. nothing like a cuppa of tea is there? However for me I’m not a massive tea drinker, it’s the sort of drink I would have if I’m over someone house where it’s frown upon by asking for a cold drink. I also only drink tea if I’m cold and want to warm up quickly – however I do tend to have hot chocolate for that aspect. What? Who doesn’t love having marshmallow with their hot chocolate? I have a mild dairy tolerant, where I can only ever drink milk once a day any more after that and I start to feel sick, so I tend to prefer having a cup of hot chocolate then switching to tea if I’m still cold. People think I’m crazy as when I do drink tea, I will only have herbal/flavor tea; Like I said already I’m not your typical tea drinker.
For all of us, even me who don’t really drink tea. Life can be stressful, what with family dramas, hospital appointments and god know what else! For many of us, sitting down and brewing a cuppa is truly relaxing and the perfect way to d-stress.
On some day there is something quite cosy, especially on a cold wet autumn night coming home and having tea and cake. Kicking off the shoes, putting on some calming music and drinking that special cut of tea while having a slice of that cake you been waiting for all day. Let face it is your ideal why to unwind from that stressful day.
