One dark gloomy autumn evening, we decided that cooking was too much of a hassle (due to fact that our oven is having problem heating up*), so it was a perfect excuse to make Nachos The Old El Paso Way.

*We (husband and I) tend to have a reputation about breaking oven, we broke one at my parents house and we broke one at our last place. I honestly don’t know what keep going wrong!

So I’m sure you’re scratching your head and thinking to yourself, how do you make Nachos The Old El Pasco Way? The answer to that – it’s so simple and easy you be wondering why you never done it before.

First up you will need The Old El Paso Nachos kit, you can buy them in any supermarket – we go this kit in Sainsbury’s. This contain the actual tortilla chips and salsa you’ll need for the nachos. We prefer having a kit as it take the hassle out of gathering all the ingredients and just it make it an easy tasty meal to have when you got no bloody oven.

Spread out the tortilla chips on a baking tray – we used tin foiled for this.

The next step is to spread the salsa dip (that comes with the packet – or you can use your own!) all over the tortilla chips.
