Benefit Bathina Body Balm

Product description

This shimmering, glimmering body balm adds a seductive golden-pink sheen to legs and body. It’s pure body luxury! It also comes complete with Bathina’s puff for a smooth, velvet application.
Doesn’t that sound divine? I have an image in my head of being a pin-up girl for the 40s-50s in her boudoir. Wearing a sexy little number and powdering her legs with this.
‘Oh wow’, was my first thought when I saw the pink gold tin box. Now not a lot of beauty product can make me go ‘oh wow’. But this did and when you see this pretty little tin box, you’ll know why.

It all very well with me ogling over the packaging – but I’m sure you all want to know is the actual product any good?

In a nutshell this is every beauty lover dream! The scent is gorgeous; it reminds me of an expensive perfume you would see in Paris Boudior. However, I will say the scent does linger but is never over powering. Now this body balm is supposed to be used on the legs, but we’re in winter and let face it – it isn’t exactly pins weather. So for me I have been using this on my arm – which again isn’t ideal as you can’t go out unless you have 3 layer of clothing on you.

However, I used this when I went out last week for my wedding anniversary and despite me wearing a jumper and my coat. The body balm seems to sustained and didn’t rubbed off. So my advice is, to still use this on your legs or arms but bring it with you so you can touch up in the bathroom.

Also I would like to note that despite this being described as a body balm, it doesn’t do much to hydrate or keep my skin from losing moisture. It just gives your body a shimmering glow, think of it a legs or arm highlighter. So if you are looking for a body balm that will lock in the moisture and hydrate your skin; sadly, this isn’t it. You will still look pretty. I should also say that this isn’t thick or greasy on application, which I think it a good result. Personally I hate applying anything that is greasy.

The little velvet pillow applicator I thought was a cute touch, so there is no need to get your fingers in the balm when applying onto the skin.

My advice overall is to use this after giving yourself a complete head to toes pampering or if you are just getting ready to going out for the night. Let face the getting ready is always the most fun part about going out. Well it is for me anyway.

So let me repeat myself by saying that this is every beauty lover dream! I loved using this product and once again Benefit have done it with this beautiful product. If I could give Benefit make-up people a high five, I would.

Now this is sadly discontinued in the US. But here in the UK, you can buy it from Boots.

Buy this now and you won’t regret it. Let me know if you will pick this up or if you like the sound of this Benefit Bathina Body Balm.

(Disclosure: There are a affiliate links here, but the item is something I highly recommend. I would never put anything on this page that I personally wouldn’t recommend.)
