In the evening I like to turn off my computer, sit on the sofa and chill out with colouring apps.
We all get bogged down with our lives sometime. Where work is a nightmare, there that girl who is a complete bitch and you have no money to pay your bills. I think we all can recognize this scenario. The moment where all hell is breaking loose and you ‘re just pulling out your hair.
Trust me, I’ve been there and brought the T-shirt. I know what it’s like. For me, when things bogged me down, I do two things – complain to my husband or find a way to relax.
The reason I list the two things are because that for me is the best way I can cope when everything starts piling up. Where you got more weight on your shoulder then you can carry, so to speak.
When that happen I complain to my husband as he the one with the sympathetic ear and often can calm me down. He gives good advice and also can give me cuddles when everything is too stressful and all I want to do is cry.
Another thing I do is, find ways to relax. My favorite phrase I say to people is, ‘’chill out’’. When the weight is on my shoulder I just find way to calm myself down and to relax.
More recently I have found the perfect way to relax and to chill out. I like to indulge myself with some colouring apps. Before you think I have gone mad – there is method with my madness.
We all seen the colouring books for adults in shops, haven’t we? Well the thing is with me – I don’t really have the patience or even a desk to do one of those coloring books. My brain sometime find is hard to relax and to have the patience to finish anything. Jigsaw puzzles, board games, watching a film, you can forget about it with me. I also got restless legs syndrome (yes it’s a real syndrome) and sitting down for too long make me ratty. Another thing is I don’t really have a work space desk, ok sure I have a computer desk but my PC take up all the room. And My husband would only complain if I leave my colouring books out. Plus, if it goes into my cardboard of darkness – it’s never seen again.
This is why I’m completely addicted to colouring apps. There no room to be taken up, I can stop and start to suit my restlessness and I don’t have to worry about storing it in my cardboard of darkness.
I have also found this to be ideal and just what the doctor orders when it comes to relaxation and chill out time. I love turning my computer off in the evening, settle down on the sofa and do some colouring.
With these colouring apps, you can choose from hundreds of designs and colours palettes. You’ll never have to worry about accidentally colouring across the lines. And you can easily restart it if you don’t like how it looking.
Myself, I find this really good fun and this is why I’m telling you guys. So if you’re having one of those day and feel completely bogged down. Download these colouring apps, lock yourself in the loo (if you’re at work) or wherever and do one simple picture.
Let me know if you download these apps and if it does indeed make you feel more relax. After all we all need some me time.
