I’m not one for following a strict exercise plans and eating the latest low carb diet fads, if I want a chicken burger wraps then I bloody well eat one! The same goes with my exercise regime, I might stick on a Jillian Michaels exercise dvd and work through it for one day before getting bored and doing another one. I basically go with my own flow.
Anyway I decided for at least this month I will exercise at least 4-5 time in a week (maybe 6 depending on how I feel on a weekend as I tend to get tired more), I have named it ‘Anna’s 30 Day shredded’.
Although ‘30 Day‘ is in the name of this workout regimen, it doesn’t specifically mean that I will only do the 30 day shreds dvd for 30 day straight, I will follow other exercise regime as well using all of Jillian Michaels various exercise dvds.
Why Jillian Michaels DVDS and not any other excise instructor?
I have done almost every Jillian Michaels dvds that is available in the UK and I have nothing but praised for her workouts. She make you sweat bucket loads and you will instantly see results on the body part you been working on. Yeah you feel sore after worth but I think that half the fun of it and you know you worked that damn muscle.
I also have done the 30 Day Shred DVD before and I lost a stone in weight!! When you have an exercise instructor giving you the ability to loose a stone in weight, then you know there a good thing going and you don’t want to break that.
What I plan to do is to alternate through various workouts so I might do 30 day shred level 1 one day and then switch to level 2 the next day and the day after I would go and do her Banish Fat Boost Metabolism workout, like I said earlier i get bored easily.
How to stay motivated
Motivation is the one thing I do struggle with, like I keep saying – I do get bored easily! There no doubt my hubby would keep my spirit up and would nag me into exercising when I’m feeling lazy.
I have also found using Pinterest is a great way to stay motivated, just by looking at the Health & Fitness board where there are tons on tips, inforgram and pictures is enough to put on your trainers. I have my own Health & Fitness board where I would pin stuff that interest me and I know will benefit me.
Another big motivation is getting the body of your dream:
Who doesn’t want a bikini body! Admittedly I do, and the best thing to do is to work on a personal goal on achieving this bikini body.
My personal Goal
My BMI often between healthy and overweight – ideally I want my BMI to blinking healthy every time I put in my measurement.
My current weight is 8 stone 3 (that is 115lbs), My height is 4ft10 so my ideal weight is 7stone 10 ( 108 pounds).
Food oh glorious food!
Food is another thing to consider in my 30 day plans. I have given up eating bread and honestly it been the best thing ever! (that another reason why I lost a stone before) So I swap bread for wraps (corn and flour). I recently been doing a little more cooking, experimenting in the kitchen and a week ago I made my hubby and I a Beef Casserole which was splendid. That my plan is to learn new recipes and to experiment with new ingredient! My kindle is filled with tons on recipes books so I have no doubt I be making loads of new dishes in the future. I should also swapped my addiction to milkshake to more fruit juice.
