The time have come for me to review your blogs. Are you ready for blog reviewed part 2?

I had an overwhelming response when I posted on Part 2 | Who Want Their Blog Reviewed. I seriously didn’t expect such a huge response. A big thank you to everyone who put in a request and because so many of you wanted your blog reviewed – I will review up to 10 blogs on here.  Don’t despair if I don’t choose your blog this time, this will be a regular monthly feature so perhaps try again next time.

I would also appreciate if you all show support to these bloggers and give them a big cheers and go visit their site.

Anyway let get started:

Helene: Beautiful Is My Attire

First up I love the name! It relates to your blog topic – a mixture of lifestyle and fashion.

The layout is nice and clean. It also responsive (it work well on my Samsung phone and tablet) and the menu is very clear with suitable drop-down menu.  My only criticism on the layout is you got the slider then the feature blog post and then 6 grid blog posts. Which then leave you with a big huge open white space. Your sidebar goes all the way to the end – so should your blog posts. My advice is fill up that big empty white space as it look unorganized and make your blog look empty.

She wears it well: Going classy with your look, that was a blog post I clicked to view to see how your actual blog post are going. Good idea to use the lovely Audrey Hepburn photo as example for this blog post. The actual blog post is nicely illustrated and the writing is clear and concise.

For photos on the blog – my advice would be to try and add your own. It will tell your readers on who you are. It will inject some of personal style into the blog.

Overall you have a very nice site and I have no real complaint. Fill up that big empty white space and inject some personality style into the blog.

Samantha: – samanthacarraro

I love the name of this blog – but I also love your tagline. ‘’An Italian Brazilian girl, discovering this crazy world’’ – that to me instantly draw me in. I find myself asking, who is Samantha? I want to know about this crazy girl.

So I click on the about & contact page and find myself a little disappointed. I’m disappointed in the fact I don’t really learn more about you. Just little titbit info. Write more about yourself – I want to learn more about you. Write about yourself as you were talking to a teacher or a friend. Just write a paragraph on who you are.

I like your blog front page – it clear and organized very well. One tiny complaint, if I click on a page or menu – there no home button that can take me back to the homepage.

The blog itself I have no real complaint – it laid out nicely. I clicked on ‘’let’s discoverer Labo’’ to see how your blog post is laid out. Very nice photos and it fit nicely into the blog post. The blog post is nicely written, but perhaps try to add some relevant links to the product you were talking about.

Overall you have a nicely laid out site with no real complaint. Just write a paragraph on who you are and get a homepage button.

Casey Lyn: – Wallet Whisper

The name of the blog ‘Wallet Whisper’ really grabbed my attention. It relates to what your blog is about – creative way to save money.

The first thing I notice when I look onto your site is the header, those it is nice – maybe perhaps put the tagline underneath the image. I understand with what you are trying to achieve with this – but on a small screen the header doesn’t quite fit properly. If you are stuck on this I’m happy to help you out, feel free to email me.

Also I notice in a small space you got your social media button in 3 different places. First on the top right hand corner, then on the header image and then again underneath. Delete the social media button underneath and on the header and just keep the one on the top.

I also find your small slider doesn’t work as well – it doesn’t get my attention and my first thought was that it advertisement. My advice would be to either get rid of the slider or perhaps make it bigger by filling up the space.  The area between the header and the blog posts need a little bit of re-arranging.

The sidebar is look empty and a little lonely. Fill it up, showcase more information. Add pictures or add little writing titbit relating to how people can save you money (ie: 5 ways to save money…)

As for the blog post themselves, I have no complaint (it not all bad!). I clicked on The Ultimate Creative Guide to Vacation on Any Budget blog post and the post itself was interesting and informative.

Overall rearrange the header and the front page (I’m more than happy to help you on this) and then people will understand your blog niche a lot clearer. Also fill up the sidebar.

Koumba: – passionnee fatale

The name of the blog is interesting and it draw my attention. Especially when you say ‘’ for loving life with a deadly passion’’ –It make me want to learn more about you and this blog.

The layout of the blog is clean and nicely organized. I like how your organized the blog into little grid – it very nicely organized. The grid layout work well on my phone and tablet.

The about me page – once again write a paragraph on who you are. I don’t really learn anything about you. Have a picture of you and fill up the space.

I clicked on ‘Queen Kidjo’ as a blog post example. Those I have no complaint on the photos – the actual blog post was very short. Write more about Queen Kidjo and write more about your concert experience. Write more to draw the readers in.

Overall you have a nice laid out site. You need to write more in your blog post and in your about me. Put more ‘you’ on the blog and your personality.

Ola:- JadoreLeDecor

The name of the blog sound very French, was that the aim? This blog niche is DIY and home décor and the name does relate to it niche.

The first thing I see when I click on I the header. My first impression when I see the header ‘a slab of concrete’, it only when I looked at it for a few second I realize it not a slab of concreate. I can see what you are trying to do with the header but my first impression was that is a big black block. I’m not sure if you want to change it little or try to add more colour.

I click on the about page and you have a full page of information. A short paragraph on you and what the blog is about. Maybe perhaps try to add some photos or pictures on the page.

The menu is nice and clear. The layout of the blog is laid out clearly and organized with a feature image.

I clicked on ‘declutter & organize your bedroom’ blog post. I have no complaint. The post is written well and it has appropriate images. The blog post relates to your niche and it would be helpful to any home décor blogger.

Overall the blog is very nice and my only criticism was the header. A very lovely home blog.

Christina: – at home feeling

This sound like it a home lifestyle niche blog. I like the tagline ‘make a house a home, even on a budget’ – this give the reader more of information on what the blog is about.

The actual layout structure is well done and I have no complaint. However, I feel the green colour scheme doesn’t work. I’m personally not a fan of green (or any colour) background.  Also I’m not a fan of the yellow blog post – perhaps change that to white.

My advice would be to also cut down on the amount of advertising around the blog – especially on the footer.

The about me page is full of information; I have no complaint. The menu is clearly marked and laid it well.

The blog post ‘Get over that shiz quote’, I clicked on and found no writing and one little image. My advice is write more – why do you like this quote? What inspire you to include it on your blog. It seems very random and it will make the readers click off instantly.

I then clicked on ‘my major blog fail’, there we go – it got writing and it written very well.

Overall change the colour scheme of the blog and cut down on the advertising.

Sasha Hernandez: – aura-nyc

The name of the blog sound interesting and it make me think this blog is set in New York.

When I clicked on the blog, I find it take a long time for everything to load. I refresh to see if would load and it only after I refresh 2x time – everything was able to load. So perhaps look into your site speed.

I’m not a fan of the black layout, the black background with red writing hurt my eyes and the silk tiling doesn’t flow well. Having a black layout will just make the readers click off instantly.

My advice would be to change it to a white background and get rid of the red writing.

The about page is full of information with nice graphic – but I still found it hard to read with the red writing. The service page doesn’t seem to have much information – Write more on what your offering and how you can help people.

I clicked on ‘Vday feature: Casual sex’, the red writing makes it hard to read.  The blog post is laid out well – you break it up with a paragraph and that does make it easier to read (proving I highlight the texts).

Overall get rid of the black background and the red writing. Also change the silk tiling background.

Natasha Short: – thelipstickprint

The blog name got my attention and it relate to your blog niche – lifestyle.

I really like your blog header and the actual design of the blog is clear and nicely laid out.

I have no real criticism l with your blog header or menu. The slider is interesting – but it looks like it cut out some of the image. Like it can’t size it properly. Also cut out the writing at the bottom of the slider.

The space between the slider and the blogs grid look a little messy. I feel the single (or feature) article look odd – like it’s there but doesn’t belong there. Maybe get rid or move the feature blog post.

I clicked on ‘broken vow’ and the blog post is clear and concise. I would change the font colour to black – as black font looks better on a white background.

Also on your sidebar move the page widget to the top so if new visitor comes to your site, they can click on instantly on who you are.

The about page is very short – fill it up with some pictures and with little more information on who you are.

Overall it a nice clear site, just need to sort out the slider and the about page. I have no real problem.

Joanna: – mumbalance

The name of the blog grabbed my attention. This to me think the blog is about kids and the home.

When I click on the blog, I really like your logo/header. It suitable and look very pretty.  The menu is clear and easy for people to click on. I would say – somehow cut down the menu to one line – instead of 3. Look into dropdown menu to help you with that.

You seem to be having an error on the slider, so I imagined there supposed to be a slider inserted underneath the menu.

The actual blog layout is very nicely done with appropriate images. The only thing I notice is your sidebar got some empty space, try to fill it up or cut down the amount of blog post on the front page.  But that just me who hate empty spaces, so it up to you.

A lot of the blog posts does relate to the green/environment/nature niche. I like there is an overall theme to this blog and any family or mum interested in that niche would be interested reading your blog. You mentioned to me that you are in the process of re-branding – so I’d be interested what changes you make after.

I clicked on the blog post, ‘What can you do with bamboo’. I really like how you did the sliding images gallery within the blog post. The writing is broken up into bullet point and paragraphs. I felt like I learnt something when I read that post. It makes me want to click on more of your images.

Overall you have a very nice site, my only criticism was the menu. I’ll be back to see how your blog rebranding have got on.

This is it for the week, I will do more next month. I look forward to doing this again.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Stay tuned for more updates!
