Lots of you seem to really like my last affiliate marketing article on how I made £200 from one blog post. I have had lots of questions from people asking me about it. So today I thought I would give you 5 reasons to use Awin for your blog affiliate marketing.

I have to admit I was surprised (pleasantly surprised, many I add!) by the response I got from how I made £200 from one blog post. A lot of you all have comes to me with questions, so many questions. How did I do it? What program did I use? Is there a special trick to learn?

While I don’t mind answering all your questions, you know me I’m always happy to help; I have found myself repeating over and over again. The general feeling, I got was that you are all confused on affiliate marketing and how it possible to make money from it.

The answer is really simple. I signed up to Awin (used to named Affiliate Window). It’s an umbrella program that let you be an affiliate to pretty any brands you can think off.

Awin is the UK’s largest affiliate marketing website, with 2,100 advertisers on their platform and supporting over 75,000 publishers, you can find everything you need to get started with Affiliate marketing.

Here are 5 reasons to use Awin for your blog affiliate marketing and how very soon, you will be reporting your own £200 from a single blog post.

You have the opportunity to be put in touch directly with appropriate brands

After you signed up and paid the £5 deposit (don’t worry you will get that money back!), filled in your profile; you can now look for appropriate brands. And trust me, there is everything for absolutely any niche. So you will find something.

All brands have the usual T&C and how much commission they will pay. But they also give the name and email addresses of the brand, allowing you to directly contact them. This is handy as you not left with an empty bot script where there no human contact. You can talk to the brands and perhaps pitch them an idea. It always worthwhile to think about when starting your affiliate marketing journey.

Direct Newsletter from Brands you have Joined

Once you signed up to a brand and become an affiliate, you will get direct newsletters from that brand. This allows you to keep up to date with any new deals/offer, new promotion, insider details. And it all information that will benefit you as well as benefiting the brand. It always worthwhile to create a special folder in your email account and keep hold off all the newsletter. I also would advise you to read them as soon as it appears in your inbox.

Let you put Brand Banner on your blog

Say one of the brands you picked is ASOS, you can put an Asos banner on your blog. I find this beneficial as it let my readers know I’m supporting that particular brand. Also, I do believe you do get paid a small amount whenever someone clicked on the banner.

Secure Login

Your Awin account is very secure and safe. So there is no chance of anyone hacking into your account and taking the money away from you. I once couldn’t even hack into my own account; I couldn’t remember the password! Don’t worry, I soon got in again. Trust me I went through a lot of security measure to prove it was me.

Tracked Earning

When you log into your account, you will see on your main dashboard all your tracked earning. You even get a little chart showing you how many links were clicked and how much you earned from that month. Just to let you know that the minimum payout is £20. But you will quickly reach that amount. So there no hidden report or something is hidden; everything is all out of the open and nothing is hidden.

Those were my 5 reasons to use Awin for your blog affiliate marketing. I hope it has been of some help to you. Please as always, if you have questions then I’m happy to answer it and to help you. Don’t be afraid. Let me know if you do sign up to Awin.
