As this is my favorite time of year, I have found myself searching for the perfect Autumn home décor. Here is my quest on finding the perfect Autumn home décor.

Every year since we moved into our current place, the central heating has never worked. We just cannot get it to work, trust me we have tried. The building management has tried* and even the central heating engineer has tried. And they are at a loss of why our place got no central heating.

*(it safe to say, he didn’t really put much elbow grease or thoughts into it when looking at our heating.)

So as you can imagine, it gets really cold here in winter. During those cold few months, I live in my onesie and sit around a little fan heater trying to get warm.

If I’m honest, every year I’m completely unprepared for the sudden coldness. I say to myself, ‘oh it won’t be that bad!’ Then it comes and it like, yeah it is.

I decided this year to be prepared and decorate the home with some perfect Autumn home décor. I have called this quest, ‘Operation Anna Nesting’. No quite sure why I came up with that name. But my thought behind it was, so I can be like nature and hibernate for the winter. Never leaving my dean.

So how do I plan on creating the perfect Autumn Home Décor? It consists of a few candles, few blankets, rugs and a dressing gown.  Let me explain.

Candles for me instantly make me feel warm and cosy with the home. There just something comforting about seeing the golden flame.

Few blankets to put on our bed to add extra warmth, this also for when we are watching TV (or playing

on the PlayStation 4!).

I’m also looking at really warm cosy dressing gowns, the kind that just wrapped you head to toes and feel a little freer then a onesie.

My office is the coldest room in the place (just my luck!), so I want to put down a rug to give the room some warmth and to trap any heat on the carpet so that it can raises and warm up the room. I’m also looking to do the same for the bedroom.

I have my job cut out for me, though fortunately I’m finding everything I need on Amazon. What are your perfect Autumn home décor?
