There are days when all you want to do is wear a Lindy Bop Audrey Florence Dress at Kew and embraced being a girl.
Now I know I’ve been saying that this year I’m following my own ‘fashion trend’ rulebook and want to wear more bohemian clothes. Or at least wear more gipsy-influenced tunics. And while that is all technically true and I’m still that bohemian girl at heart.
There are however times when all I want to be is a girl. A girl who wears nothing but a pretty dress and go wandering around Kew Gardens.
A girl who not only wear flowers in her hair and go backpacking across Europe like some kind of classic bohemian gipsy. But also a girl who wears a pretty dress and goes wandering among the flowers.
Something I did last week when I did exactly that, wore a pretty dress and did indeed went wandering among the flowers.
I wore my pretty Lindy Bop Audrey Florence Dress around Kew Garden. Now I have been planning this for a while now. It sounds silly but I bought the dress in November last year and knew instantly that I should wear around Kew Gardens.
This dress has the typical classic swing style that I adore. With the name given to it as ‘Audrey’, you instantly do think of classic style – well I do anyway. When I saw this dress I did think of one particular classic style such as Audrey Hepburn; as cliché as it sounds.
With it being a classic style dress, it was only appropriate to wear it in such a classic setting, such as somewhere like Kew Gardens.
I love Kew Gardens, I find the whole setting to be so romantic and so peaceful. There be more of my visit to Kew Gardens in my next post. I’m here today as I just wanted to show you this Lindy Bop Audrey Florence Dress.
Throughout my day wearing it, I did have a number of people who came up to me complimenting me on the dress and stating how pretty it was. Which I think is a winning result.
So whether you’re like me and just want to be that girl for the day who likes to wear a pretty dress or just prefer a more undefined style that doesn’t follow any rules book. Then, in all honesty, I raise my glass to you and I’ll be cheering you on.
What are your thoughts on the Lindy Bop Audrey Florence Dress? Does it make you want to embrace being a girl?
