Today is the second day of a 365-pages story. Make the most of it and be amazing in 2017.

I want each and every single one of you – yes even the girl at the back I see you – to be so flipping amazing in 2017.  Do something amazing that will make you feel awesome all year long. This is the year that you’ll going to take charge with your life and live it on a high. You’re going to start the day with a punch in the air, high five people as you meet them and tell that mirror reflection that today will be a good day, no matter what.

Start 2017 by changing your look. And no I’m not talking about plastic surgery. By the time you read this I’ll be on my way to the hairdresser as I’m finally going to do something about my hair. I’m starting 2017 with a new look and it will (hopefully) be amazing! Go change your look and be a whole new you. I’m not talking about anything drastic or a complete pretty woman top to toes new look. Just change how you have your hair – from a pony tail to a French braid. If your hair looking a little dull, go to the hairdresser and get a blow-dry, it will add some volume and at least you get salon hair for a day. Just change your lipstick – from a dark red to a bright red. Paint your nails or find some fashion statement jewelry to wear.

Start 2017 learning something new. I spent a lot of new year day fiddling around in Photoshop and getting back into loving graphic design. I learnt new skills and I enjoyed myself making all kind of different pictures. Moral of the story is that I learnt something new. That what I want you all to do (and be warned I will be checking up on you all – big brother is real folks) this year is to learn a new skill. Whether it to play a musical instrument or to take drama classes. Go and do it and do it now! If you’re planning on starting up a blog this year – go ahead and do it. You will not regret it.

Start 2017 with a smile and be nice. Let’s be honest there is too much hatred and violence in the world. Take the time this year to smile at people and to be nice at everyone you meet. If you see someone wear something nice – compliment them. I do this quite often. I’d be on the train minding my own business and if a lady sits down next to me and she’s wearing this amazing dress – I’d tell her. There no harm in it and all you’re doing is telling someone they look nice. Not only did it brighten your day – it I suppose brighten that person day a little.

So overall what I’m saying is – 2017 is the start of a 365 blank pages’ story. Go ahead and fill it up with lots of awesome things. When 2017 is over, you can look back at it and realize that this year you were amazing.
