Did you know, that the average cost of a wedding nowadays is nearly approximately £30,00? (And that doesn’t even include the honeymoon suite in the Maldives.) Bridesmaids and page boys alone can run around £500. And the cake? That could be another £500. On average, flowers and decorations often amount to over £2,000. Same goes for the band and the photographer. But then again these figure are the big over the top fairy tale wedding that we all dream of having – well most of us; personally that would my idea of hell.
Since June is known as ‘the wedding season’ for a lot of people, how about a brief guide on what to wear to wedding and the right dress code etiquette?
There Should Only Be One White Dress In The Room
Well duh, that is the kind unwritten rule isn’t it. Don’t upstage the bride by wearing white. It could very well be awkward and embarrassing.
Be Color Conscious
On the other hand, you don’t exactly want to arrive at the venue looking like Rainbow Bright on drugs. Be colour conscious and be aware what colour outfit you are wearing, I mean you don’t want everyone whispering ‘oh it’s that girl who look like a banana is a little tipsy in the bar’.
Don’t Steal The Show
By now there is a theme, this is an important tip and one I’m sure you know already, don’t steal the bride and groom thunder. You don’t want to go down in history as the one who got seriously drunk and started doing the can can at the evening disco.
