As I write this, the wind is howling, and it is absolutely pouring down with rain. It’s a cold, miserable January day. It the kind of weather where you don’t want to go outside – but instead stay indoors and feel cosy in your home.

That is how I’m feeling right now. I want to ignore the howling wind and the thundering rain and feel all warm and cosy at home.

When it a miserable rainy January day, it always makes me want to do a little bit of baking. There is something so comforting with the smell of home-baked brownie or cookies. Personally, there is nothing better than fresh out the oven brownie and a hot tea, especially on a day like today.

So let me show you this Cadbury Brownie Mix which I picked up recently. I’m never going to be a Delia Smith so I like to pick these easy baking mixture as it is simple, easy and someone who has no real baking skills won’t fudge up and make a right ole’ mess of it all.

The Cadbury Brownie Mix requires vegetable oil, water and elbow grease to stir the mixture. I found it quite an effort to stir in the mix, and I felt it need someone with a strong arm.

In less than 20 minutes in total, you will have fresh gooey chocolate brownies.

If you want to have a little comfort on a cold January day and like the thoughts of having the excuse to bake, then pick up this Cadbury Brownie Mix. I was impressed with it as it doesn’t really require much baking skills. If I can do this – so can you.

My advice would be to pour yourself a good cuppa, settle down in your favourite comfort area of the home and enjoy those moments of winter comforts.
