Life for me lately has been not the best, If I’m honest. There would be days where I had zero motivation to do anything and spend my days just crying. Can’t go into details on what spurred this on but behind the scene I have been a hopeless crying mess.
From reading Fearne Cotton ‘Happy’ book, it seems to be that I don’t have a ‘happy brain’. The best way I can describe this is, by saying it a neurology function where you can’t be happy in the brain. The wires aren’t connected properly within the part of your brain that controls your emotions – causing you not to have the feeling of happiness. As you can imagine it a complex subject and I’m the least qualified person to write about it, but there are plenty of articles about ‘happy brain’.
But one way I have been trying to overcome my ‘happy brain’ is by keeping a journal. And this is where Cath Kidston Positivity Journal comes in.
Who knew Cath Kidston did a positivity journal? I didn’t till I saw it one day while browsing.
Now there is not a day go by when I’m not browsing on Cath Kidston website. Seriously, I’m on there all the time. I love everything on there, and if I had a million pound, I would waste it on Cath Kidston stuff.
So it no surprise I did a big splurged on there recently, buying their clothes and of course, picking up the positivity journal. Let me talk you through this journal.
This journal is very much Cath Kidston style. As you can see from the photos it has their gorgeous floral patterns on the pages which is something we have comes to know and love Cath Kidston for.
Throughout the journal, there are inspirational quotes and dailies tips on being positive – something you would expect from a positivity journal, right? However, these quotes and tips feel more personal and it not some empty texts that have no real meaning. I thought that was a nice touch with this Cath Kidston Positivity journal.
Overall If you’re like me and don’t have ‘happy brain’, while also needing a little positivity every day then this Cath Kidston Positivity Journal I believe is the first steps I need to take to make me have that ‘happy brain’ function. I will let you know how I get on and whether this journal does the trick.
– One last thing: I’m sad to report that this journal has sold out on the Cath Kidston website – however, you might still be able to pick it up in their store.
