Calling all fashionistas! How would you like to own a little bit of iconic fashion? Well, now you can, as iconic 60s fashion designer Celia Bertwell is set to launch a collection for Japanese high street fashion chain Uniqlo.

‘I’m actually fairly critical of my work but I think the way they’ve put it together, I couldn’t have done it better myself.’ The designer was quoted saying on Elle website.

For those who are not familiar with Celia Betwell then here’s a brief background to the designer.
Celia Betwell is a textile designer who was well known for her printed designs throughout the 1960s/70s, unlike other bold clashing print designs of the era she was more known to be influenced by Picasso. Her work with Ossie Clark was celebrated by working with the popular celebrities of the era such Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. She continued to design her fashion collections even after her divorce from Ossie Clark.

In more recent time she designed a spring/summer collection for Topshop in 2005 which sold out within seconds of its release. So this latest collection for Uniqlo isn’t the first time she has collaborated with a high street fashion chain, and here’s a sneaky peak of what is on offer when the collection goes live on March 21st:
