I brought this last month and I thought it was about time I do review on this, so let me introduce you to Benefit new complexion makeup kit.: How To Look The Best At Everything. This was love at first sight, as I loved the packaging and inside the makeup kit and it has everything I’d ever need to do the foundation part of my make up:
light kit includes:
- the POREfessional PRO balm to minimise the appearance of pores
- hello flawless oxygen wow “I’m pure 4 sure” ivory brightening makeup
- boi-ing 01 & 02 industrial-strength concealer
- “hello flawless!” “I love me” ivory custom powder cover-up
Who wouldn’t love that!
I thought the best way of showing you on how well it work is by showing the before and after pictures:
Before: – This is me before applying the makeup kit.
After: – This is me after applying the makeup kit.
Ooor errr not a massive different between the two photos, it’s pretty difficult to tell if I even applied it. This is what Benefit have written about this make-up kit and this make give you an understanding on why you can’t see much different.
” We wrote the book on complexion perfection! Our custom perfectors give you a luminous complexion by blending away imperfections and minimising the appearance of pores. You’ll be the first to finish flawless. “
So it really to make those pores and imperfection disappear – it just to give you overall foundation look. I still like it and I think it gave me a good flawless finish.
I could finish here and you would be none the wiser on whether this would be any good for you, so I decided to do 3 different make-up look which might give you an in-depth look at this make-up kit. Plus if you’re stuck for makeup ideas this Christmas – this might help you.
Glitter eyes:
Let start with Glitter eyes, who doesn’t love glittery eyes? A subtle look but effective. No need to go over the top with this, just apply some glitter eye shadow and mascara.
The Eyeliner:
I should note I’m rubbish at applying eyeliner so do bear with me on this photo. I think applying eyeliner is striking and will make you eyes stand out. It also give a 60s vibe to it.
The Dark/Smokey Eyes:
Perhaps on Christmas day, put away your Christmas jumper for the day and don a little black dress and style it with some smokey dark eyes. Striking and daring.
So which look do you like the best?
This is what I used to create all three looks:
