If you want to go somewhere this is a little different in London and love vintage and eccentric fashion. Well, you would want to be exploring Camden Market.
I haven’t been to Camden market in years! I went a few times while at uni when meeting up with friends, but it always been a place in London that I tended to forget about. Instead, I’m always finding myself exploring the area around Covent Garden and the west ends as it easier for me to get to and I just adore the entire area.
I also associate Camden Town with London Zoo. So if I’m ever up that way I tend to make a beeline to the zoo – often forgetting about the marketplace.
Anyway, one day last week we were feeling bored and it looked like it has finally stopped raining for one day. We decided to that exploring Camden Market seem like a good idea as we wanted a different place to visit.
Like I said, I’ve been a few times, but Richard never been so I decided to introduce him to it. Now, I’m sure you all have heard of this marketplace? It a big area in London, around Camden Town that is basically a giant marketplace. Selling all kind of things, from Indian rugs to gothic clothing, vintage dresses and every kind of accessories imaginable. Huge melting pots of bohemian decors, eccentric fashion to the very strange. It very much a place you have to see for yourself and to explore all the many different stalls on offer. I think it helps if you have an open mind and is ok with going beyond your comfort zones.
I can keep on describing Camden market, but it won’t do it justice. So I’m going to let the photos do all the talking. And show you what I mean about exploring Camden Market and how it a huge melting pot of cultures.
I feel I should give you a warning, there quite a lot of photos here. So If you are on mobile or tablet, it might be an idea to view this on a desktop. Or to view this on a Wi-Fi connection. If you have problems viewing photos, let me know and I can see if I can help you.
