For as long as Richard and I have been together, there is one thing I have constantly been asking him every single year to see. And that is to see a big firework display. After all you gotta see some fireworks on Firework Night.
It like not being able to see the beach on a hot summer day or not seeing a daffodil around Easter. Firework Night is that one night of the year to see some fireworks. Admittedly I’m a big kid when it comes to fireworks, I can’t help myself. Who doesn’t love looking at some amazing bright colourful lights in the sky? Feel free to put your hand up if you don’t – I won’t judge as I do know some people who hate Firework Night and wish it was outlawed. Me, I never been scared of fireworks – the bang never bothered me which I do know bother a lot of people – but me nahhh I would go ‘oooooh’ at all the pretty fireworks.
Where was I? Oh yes well finally after years of nagging Richard to go to see the local big firework displayed – he finally said let do it. Woohoo my inner child in me jumped and down with excitement. My local area put on the biggest displayed of fireworks and it is amazing! I believe they (the people who put on the fireworks display) have won some awards as it that good. Nothing but 25 minutes (why they can’t stretch it to 30 mins – I’ll never know!) of amazing fireworks. What also make it fun is there also a funfair before the fireworks display, so naturally I wanted to go on all the rides and eat candyfloss. Firework Night is one night a year – gotta have some fun after all.
Anyway enough talk and let me show you the amazing Fireworks:
We took photo of the big bonfire and it was only once we got home, we notice something in one of the pictures. Can you spot what it is?
Did you go and see any fireworks this weekend?
