The past month I have been suffering from the worst dry skin known to man, the point where I would constantly itch/scratch my skin. I would get this mainly on my back and neck, at first I thought it was a reaction to shampoo/body lotion but nope that doesn’t seem to help. I tried every body lotion I could get my hand on as my skin was by this point becoming quite sore, I also had people recommending every products and to do this and that every hours off the day. I even went to my doctor to ask to see a dermatologist as my skin was quite frankly drying up, got told there a 3-6 months wait. As you can see, it was becoming a little ridiculous.

I then read somewhere about using oil instead of lotion as it work deeper into the skin cell then lotion (which only work on the top surface).  After I was reading Amber’s blog post on oil, my mind was made up. I went onto Feel Unique and brought two lots of oil, the Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse (which I will review soon) and the Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil which is what I’m talking about today.

Beautiful looking skin doesn’t get easier!

Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil is will reveal your skin’s natural perfection.

How does it work?
Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil is a perfecting oil 5 times more concentrated in nutrients than Garnier’s regular body lotion. Enriched with 4 precious oils – Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose – its blissfully fragranced formula will visibly beautify your skin.

Results:
– Skin looks illuminated: Immediately radiant, satin-like.
– Skin is nourished with moisture: Instantly feels smoother and softer.
– Skin looks perfected: Beautiful looking and irresistably soft.

Weightless formula, non-greasy and non-transfer on clothes.

This oil is a mixture of Argan , Macadamia , Almond and Rose oils and it’s fine mist which you spray all over yourself. The oil itself doesn’t feel greasy and if applied lightly, sinks in very quickly but stills gives you enough time to massage it into your skin. The oil not only moisturises my  dry skin but also gives it a lovely sheen without it looking too oily and shiny. Another important factor is the smell as it has a very light aroma that reminds me slightly of the almonds included in the ingredients, not at all over powering.

So does it help my horrible dry skin? Hell yes!  I’ve been using this product once a day for a week now and have already noticed a difference in my skin. My skin is feeling much softer and definitely looks a lot better – especially on the back. It’s doesn’t  give you the feeling of greasy oily all day as it dries in and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. It improved my skin massively so I recommend this to anyone who is in need of some skin TLC, especially dry skin. I’ll be sticking with oils instead of lotions from now on.  The only problem is I often need someone to rub the oil on my back.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Stay tuned for more updates!
