Another week gone by and another life story update. This week it been about a fish tale.
Last week Richard and I had some time off from work so we decided to hook with his brother and wife and see some fishes. Well the main point was for our niece (his brother daughter) who is 2 to see the fishes at the London Aquarium. Which 2 years old doesn’t like to see some fishes? For us (Richard and I) it was really nice to take our niece to the aquariums and to see her excitement at all the sea life creature.
But folks, despite our excitement taking our niece out for the day, one thing I didn’t expect or prepared for – the huge crowd of people.
Bloody hell! London Aquarium is on the south bank, near Westminster and right next to the London eye. Right in the heart of all London activities. I was expecting a crowds of people – as the day was a Saturday. But wow there was crowds and crowds of people. It was manic and completely mad! At one point you couldn’t move. We could hear people trying to shout out instructed on where to walk but it was pretty pointless as everyone was packed together like sardine
I don’t know about you but I hate a crowd of people. I get claustrophobia, irritated and frustrated on how everyone is walking so slow. This is why I usually avoid going out at the weekend (seriously at weekend I’m a hermit and don’t leave my house for anything – ok to Tesco to buy chocolate) and just stay at home.
So we turned up to the aquarium and we ended up queuing for an hour to get in – for an excited 2 years old this felt like a lifetime. Kids are not the most patience people are they? But then again neither are adults when I think about it.
Here are the following photos from the aquarium. None of them will show my niece face directly as her mum (my sister in law) have forbidden me. Here is my niece fish tale.
Aplogise my camera doesn’t handle low level lights very well – so photos might be blurry.
If you like looking at aquarium and happen to have a day free round London, then I do recommend visiting London aquarium. It fun day out for all ages. Just don’t go at weekend!
