I’m forever on a continuing skincare quest that just never ever end. And if you are a reader of this blog, you will know that I’m always complaining about my dry skin. This is why I’m currently loving L’Oreal skin perfection gentle exfoliator.
I love after a good exfoliator/facial wash having clean, smooth skin. I don’t think anyone now I think about it, would picked dirty rough smelly skin would they? This was why a few week ago I picked up this L’Oreal skin perfection gentle exfoliator. (It full name is Skin Perfection Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliator – quite a mouthful!) I will self-confess I usually stayed away from any L’Oreal products, as I have found in the pass to be really perfumery.
Products I have used had a very heavy scent and I felt didn’t do a good job on my skin. However I will say I was a lot younger when I tried out a few L’Oreal products. My skin at the time were going through changes and skin-imbalance. I can reflect on that now – but at the time I said ‘ ugh, never use L’Oreal in my life ever again’. You grow older and you learn.
Anyway moving on, I found myself picking up this up.
This L’Oreal skin perfection gentle exfoliator is designed for dull and tired skin. Its proven to remove make-up and impurities and reveal a better skin texture. The peachy texture, infused with micro-beads, gently exfoliates dead skin cells and impurities. Reveals smoother and radiant skin Beyond a clean feel, reveals perfectly soft, smooth and radiant skin.
How to Use
Use once per day in the morning or evening. Massage into damp skin and rinse well with water.
So after usage did I notice brighter looking skin? I honestly can’t say I didn’t notice. My skin felt soft and smooth – like it always does after a facial wash. But looking brighter, I honestly don’t think it did. I have dry skin around the T-zone and chin – that I did notice to look a little calmer and not so angry. So that is a result.
The exfoliator has an orangey scent… which is not dominate and over powering. As after all that what put me off using L’Oreal in the first place. But after a second after application I didn’t notice the smell. L’Oreal have also avoided using soap in this product which means your skin is not left feeling dry or tight after application.
So overall this is a good exfoliator to add to your skincare routine if suffering with dry skin. But if you want brighter and radiant skin, then this wouldn’t cut it I’m afraid. Don’t let that put you off – it a gentle exfoliator and I notice a few different using this. But don’t expect miracle by having glowing brighter skin using this.
