I don’t know about you, but I can’t get enough of reading books right now. So here are more books to read this autumn.

Yeah, guess who just spend a small fortune on books and now need to borrow money to help last her for the end of the month? Any guesses?

*shamelessly raises my hand*, I didn’t mean to and I just went down that rabbit hole on Amazon and I somehow now am out of pocket. Whoops.

The thing is, I have forgotten how much paperback books cost. I spent so many years buying really cheap Kindle books that I just ignore paperback books. I know that an awful thing to say but in my defence, a lot of library and bookstores has closed down. Even my local WHSmith store has downsized their books department.

I did say last time that I’m trying to get back into paperback books this season, as I need to in the evening give my eyes a rest from the bright screen. An activity without being distracted with something on my phone or tablet.

On the bright side, with me buying so many paper books is you all can look so forward to lots of book reviews in the future. Yay!

Now previously I went down the dark, mysterious and spooky categories of books. For me that the kind of book I tend to look for at this time of year, can you blame me when outside is so cold and dark.

So this time I thought I would go toward the lighter side of life (always look on the Brightside of life. Sing with me. Ok maybe not!). Where you can smile and just general feel happy.

Here is my selection of happier and lighter books. This time of year isn’t all doom and gloom, you know (despite what my dad keeps saying to me, now he’s really doom and gloom).

Enjoy my more books to read this autumn.
