I’m one of those girls who live in her pyjamas while at home. So it hardly surprising that I’m always having a pyjamas party all year round. Let me invite you all to my pyjamas party.
I have this ritual where as soon as I stepped into the home, I have to change into my pyjamas. I hate wearing my ‘outdoor’ clothes at home. So I always make a beeline for the bedroom to get changed back into my pyjamas.
That makes me sound like a right old slob, doesn’t it? Forever staying in my pyjamas. But in all honesty, pyjamas as so comfy and cosy to wear while at home. There are more of a loungewear, then something you would wear just to go to bed.
Especially these Cath Kidston Pyjamas I’m wearing in those photos. They are from last year and have been my saviour in keeping me warm on these long cold dark nights. Especially as we have no heating working and relay on a little plug-in heater to heat up the place.
At this time of year, when the weather is bitterly cold and with very little daylight. It feels nice to stay at home and to have a pyjamas party. I’m calling it my winter hibernating, cause right now I’m very much hibernating and much rather curl in bed, then go out and face the crowds.
The thoughts of waiting on a cold frosty platform while waiting for my train, don’t fill me with my enthusiast. I’m one of those people that can never get warm, so I’m forever hoping around or rubbing my hands together to get warm. So you can understand why I rather hibernate then choosing to go out.
I invite you all to my pyjamas party, or even to have your own. The rule of this party is pretty simple: change from your ‘outside’ clothes and just wear some comfy cosy pyjamas around the home. Then it up to you on what you do at home. Lately, I’ve been doing my Christmas shopping online from the comfy of my bed and then waiting around for the parcel to arrive. The thought of trying to face the crowds is a nightmare I don’t wish to endure. I much rather have my pyjamas party in the peace of my home.
So have I convinced you to join my Pyjamas party? What will you do for your pyjamas party?
