Now you might remember me mentioning how I have very long thick hair? You also might remember how I use shampoo to deal with my long thick hair? Today I’m talking about shampooing my long hair.
Yup I’m still complaining about my ultra fast growing knotted hair! It isn’t a blessing and it isn’t pretty when you have hair like mine. It really isn’t! In fact I’m thinking of cutting it and putting in some colour. Dun Dun Dun… Relax I’m not going to go crazy – just cut off the bad part at the end and perhaps go strawberry blonde. I will still have my long hair in which it will look nice for one day and then the next it will go back to being a horrible mess.
Oh well, in the meantime I have been looking for a perfect hair solution to my dilemma. And I think folks, I have found it. I think I have found it in this neat little shampoo & conditioner bottle: L’Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Luminiser. I picked this up one day last week as I was on a mission on finding the right shampoo & conditioner for my hair.
Product Description
The Science of Dull Hair Lacking Radiance. Over time, hair fibres can become dull due to a build-up of impurities and the hair cuticle becoming rough, which can disrupt light reflection.
The Secret to Intense and Long-lasting Shine. Today, professional gloss techniques are used to remove impurities from hair fibres, and coat them with a glossing polish for long-lasting, weightless luminosity. Inspired by this, L’Oréal Paris laboratories have created our first haircare range enriched with GLYCOGEL, a glossing polish that helps hair look illuminated for 48hr* sealed in shine.
RESURFACES THE FIBRES: Helps to clear the fibres of impurities that disrupt light reflection. The fibres appear as if resurfaced and cuticles appear realigned, for silky smooth hair that feels
deeply moisturised. SEALS IN SHINE: Helps seal the cuticles and coat the hair with a weightless gloss to intensify shine.
With a products description like that, I was hoping miracles would happen.
Here is my hair before the shampoo. By this point as you can see from the photos it greasy and looking rather dull. It also incredibly knotted and clumpy.
I washed my hair with two shampoo and one conditioner. And this is my hair afterward.
My hair is slightly still damp at the top. But my hair feel and look amazing! It so soft and easy to brush through the knots. It also has volume and doesn’t look dull at the end. It worked well for my rather difficult hair. So yes I did experience a miracle with my hair – hooray!
