My trusted and beloved cleanser runs out last week and it was right when I needed it the most. I’ve been using the Garnier Skin Oily Skin Clarifying Wash and it really have served me well so I was keen to replace it. I had a big important meeting last week and it was right when my face decide to break out and do a join the dots puzzle, why does my face do this when I need to look my best. So I rushed to Boots to get my trusted cleanser – lo and behold it wasn’t there! Sold out the ticket said, how can it be sold out? This cannot be happening, I have that important meeting I need to look my best for. I don’t think the assistance quite understand why I was panicking and getting all hysterical. After calming down I found myself on a new hunt, a new kind of cleanser to try out. It then I picked up the ‘Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser’.
The back of it read:
”KEEP ‘EM CLEAN with a mighty mousse from Soap & Glory. Use THE FAB PORE™ PURIFYING FOAM CLEANSER daily to leave your skin feeling cleansed, purified and all-out fabulous.”
No harm in trying this out I thought, I generally find Soap & Glory products to do exactly what it says on the tin – well bottle. Anything that can clear my skin is a blessing! So I did my usual skin care routine and decide to use this as the last thing. (As a foot note: My usual skin care routine generally consistent of me using a toner and moisturizer with a cleanser last – yes I know it backward but I found it work best for my skin.)
With a price tag of £8, this Soap & Glory Fab Pore foam cleanser is good value for money and comes in this beautiful green packaging which pumps the liquid out in a thick foam.
So I pumped a little on my hand first then onto my damp skin, why my hand first? I’m not sure why I just find it easier and most likely won’t get it in my eyes. Like most traditional cleanser treatments, the Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser is loaded with tea tree, witch hazel and grapefruit which leave your skin feeling tingly and minty. I didn’t notice a smell so that was good. So I put this onto my damp skin and rinsed it off after minute.
I used this two night before the big important meeting so I was hoping this would work instantly. I did noticed a difference in my skin the morning after and from only ever using this once. I’m now writing this a week later and my skin is so much clearer and a lot less oily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has problems with unexpected facial outbreak and need instantly rescuing.
As for my meeting, well I’m hoping that went as well as this Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser- keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
