Now summer is over, and I’m embracing Autumn to the fullest. I’m also thinking about how we are now very close to the end of the year. The goals I want to achieve before the end of 2018.
Ok, 2018 isn’t over yet and we are only 4 months away till the end of the year. So it does seem very premature to even be thinking of the new year.
But I’m the kind of girl who is always looking ahead. I often compare myself to a speeding train going at 1000 mph, I’m forever speeding to the next best thing.
So hence why I’m setting some goals that are easily achievable. Now I have said in the past that I’m rubbish at goals, well It really easy for me to set goals, but to achieve it is a whole different ball game. However, I’m going to try and make it a little easier by only setting goals that are actually achievable. I won’t be setting any fantasy goals that I know I don’t have a hell of a chance of achieving anything. But something that is realistic and I can actually do and be able to tick it off.
So here goes, the goals I want to achieve before the end of 2018.
Go on a little adventure:
I’m always restless and eager for my next adventure, so before the end of the year, I’m going to try and go on a little adventure. Nothing big, it can be an overnight stay somewhere different. But something that is an adventure and it gives me a chance to explore somewhere new.
Try and be more firm with my Slimming World Online:
I said before on why I decided to join Slimming World Online. But I haven’t exactly been very faithful to it. I keep majorly slipping up and just going completely off course. So I dragged Richard into helping me and I’m making him my SW trainer. Whenever I’m reaching for the chocolate, he has my permission to publicly shame me (Think of it as Games Of Thrones and the shame, yeah it will be like that!). I’m also now In a few SW Facebook groups, so hopefully, that will also be my support team.
Up my deadlift to twice a week:
I started training last year as part of my preparation for my Europe travel. I wanted to strengthen my back as carrying a backpack would kill me. I am enjoying it, but I only ever do it once a week – partly as I was afraid of actually damaging my back – but now I feel ready to up it to twice a week. I keep telling myself that strong Is the new sexy.
Go on more Autumn walk:
Late last year, round about this time I discovered a nature reserve place that was perfect to get some cool autumn air. Surrounded by miles of countryside, so it completely peaceful and so nice to be surrounded by nature. I’m looking forward to wrapping up in my coat and hearing the crunchiness of the leaves as I walk.
Do something with my hair:
Over the course of the year, my hair has become a wild beast. It genuinely has taken a life of its own. If I don’t take back control, I will end up looking like Cousin It. No joke. In all seriousness, my hair has become a disgusting mess. Always tangled, split end all over and it has about 4 different colours which make my hair look odd. I need to take action before it swallows me whole.
Have a real pamper Spa Day:
I haven’t had a pamper day for a very long time – so it about time I have one, right? Book into a spa where I can have a top to toes treatment and just feel renewed and fresh. Yeah, I’m going to start looking for deals right now.
Those were the goals I want to achieve before the end of 2018. Do you have any of your own goals You want to achieve yourself?
