For someone who likes to go out and explore new places, staring at the four walls isn’t exactly fun. So, I thought I would list for you on the various things that have been keeping me entertained during the lockdown.

I should give you a warning now this lockdown has allowed me to indulge my geeky side and let me tell you, I have gone into full nerd mode. So, expect some geeky, nerdy speech if that is ok with you?

Anyway, let me show you what has been keeping me entertained during the lockdown.

The Sims

Laugh at me all you like, but I have been re-connecting with my old favourite game. It was free earlier this year on the PlayStation Plus, so I thought, why not? I find it therapeutic as it let me create my own fantasy world, and it a distraction from the real world. It is just something fun to help pass along the time.

Baking

I keep baking brownie or any snacky foods. Great for keeping my hands and time busy, but not so great for my weight. At least the snacks cupboard is never empty.

Disney+

I wrote before how we subscribed to Disney+. I must say it has been a godsend during my time at home. So many new contents to watch, while also so many old materials to re-watch. Love it.

Trying out new Skincare

My skin been kind of rubbish lately, and as I have quite a lot of free time, I have been pampering myself. It has been lovely to indulge myself in a homey spa treatment.

YouTube

I have found some fantastic YouTube channels, and they have been keeping me entertained. A few are:

Juno Birch

Aquaholic

The Liebls

Scrabble on the Go

It an online Scrabble game in which you play with other people. I play on this first thing in the morning, to the last thing at night. I am hooked.

Reading books

I, of course, have been using this time to find a quiet corner and spend a few hours reading. I will be doing some books reviews soon.

That was my list of things that have been keeping me entertained during the lockdown. I might add to it as lockdown continue.
